According to Diedrich's, "Morning Edition Blend is a signature blend created by Martin Diedrich to be ideal as a first cup of morning coffee." Turns out, they were right. While we're not sure where the beans are sourced from, they do blend together nicely and give great results in a French Press. This is a full-bodied coffee, with just enough brightness to balance out the body. There is a little fruity sweetness, almost like black cherry or vanilla, and the finish is smooth and hearty.

Morning Edition also pairs well with vending machine Bear Claws (give 'em 20 seconds in the microwave for a piping hot treat!). And in case you were wondering, it still works well as an afternoon coffee.
