| Description | Wow. This is coffee the way it should be. A bit too pricey to drink every day for us poor cubicle workers, but a real nice treat if you can get it. This would make an ideal gift for the coffee lover in your office. So start dropping hints now to your boss about how much value you've been adding to the organization. This coffee starts off with a bright sparkle of acidity that fades into a rich, creamy full body. No sourness at all. Finishes very nice with a hint of spicy, roastyness and a pleasant reminder of fruit. Very well balanced and rich, hard to believe this is a light roast. Jeff has really brought out the best in this bean, craft roasting it to perfection. It really shines in the French Press and this is one case where the Cup of Excellence moniker is well deserved, not just some marketing hype. If you want to know more, there's a great write up about the Los Planes farm and the grower (Sergio Ticas Reyes) on the PT's Coffee website. |
